A blog is one of the best side hustles one can start. But it needs genuine efforts to generate a stable income. In this article, I’ll explain each and every detail, from A to Z about how to build a blog without coding, how to earn money from a blog and what it takes to reach  to a big audience.

Step 1. How To Get a Free .com Domain Name For Lifetime?

First and foremost, what we need is Hosting. Hosting is similar to a plot of land where you can build your dream home. Likewise, hosting is where you build your website.

For beginners, shared hosting is the best choice. It is alike to a hostel where you share all the resources available and pay a compensation for it, where your website will be sharing the same RAM, processor and all other resources with other websites hosted on it.

If you need a free domain forever, I recommend Fastcomet which is an awesome web host.

Starting at just $2.95 per month, you get:

  • 15GB SSD Space
  • Unmetered Traffic
  • Superfast server
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 2 CPU Cores
  • Free Domain for Life
  • Free Cloudflare CDN
  • cPanel Powered Hosting
  • Daily WordPress Backups
  • 24/7 WordPress Support
  • 45 Days Money – Back
  • Unlimited business email accounts.

It is one of the best web hosting out there in the market today.

Step 2. Install WordPress

Go to Fastcomet cPanel and search for Softaculous. Click on it.

Click on WordPress. Then click on Install Now. Select your domain. Fill all the necessary details such as admin username and password. Then press the Install button.

Step 3. Top 10 Must Have WordPress Plugins for Your Blog

WordPress is a great tool to build awesome websites. It gives freedom and flexibility to create any kind of website. Be it just a portfolio or a big community website or a scalable blog. There are 53,803 plugins as on the date this article was written. But it’s crucial to know which ones are the must-have plugins for WordPress website.

Using a wrong plugin can screw your website totally. So it’s really important to know which are the must-have plugins for WordPress website to use so as to improve the performance.

Step 4. Decide a topic / niche to write about

This is the most important step for the success of a blog. From my years of experience, I can definitely say that deciding a particular topic helps decide the potential audience of the blog.

Step 5. How to Write a Blog: The Dos and Don’ts of Writing a Blog

First and the foremost thing: DO NOT COPY. Yes this is the most important thing that most newbies don’t pay heed to. Unique content is what ensures a blog post get on Google search result.

Always decide a particular topic and research for keywords before writing a blog post. Search for related keywords using websites like LSIGraph and AnswerthePublic. Make sure to include those keywords within your blog posts.

Avoid keyword stuffing and try to use synonyms of the main focus keyword.

Include images, videos, GIFs etc to increase dwell time of a user. This increases your website’s authority and shows Google that you are providing value along with the content.

Step 6. Search Engine Optimization of Blog Articles.

Basically you need to do the on-page search engine optimization. This includes:

  • Use H1, H2 tags etc.
  • Include long term keywords as described above.
  • Use Alt keywords for images.
  • Write clean URLs.
  • Add modifiers to the title.
  • Wrap subheadings within H2 tags.
  • Use outbound links.
  • Internally link to your other blog posts.
  • Boost your website loading speed.
  • Post long content if possible.

Aw, this was an extremely good post. Finding the time and actual effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I put things off a whole lot and don’t seem to get nearly anything done.
